Tis the Season!! (Holly)

Well, it is that time of year.  Time to give thanks for everything we have, whether or great or not so great.

We did absolutely nothing for Thanksgiving.  This is the first year that I spent the day by myself.  Tim was at work, Colton was at his dads and I was curled up on the couch watching movies. :)  We weren't able to do much because, well, Stoli's puppies were born on the 24th and we could not leave her home alone while we traveled.  It was not a horrible day though, Tim came home around five and Colton around 6.  We went and rented movies and then cooked a ton of food!  :)    This is also the first Thanksgiving that Colton was actually with us for part of the day, instead of spending the night with his dad.  So, it was two firsts this year!

On Friday we wanted to go shopping at 4am but I think I might have turned my alarm off by accident. Whoops!   But we did make it out by about 8:30.  Colton was not impressed and asked us to never take him black Friday shopping again!!  After shopping we all took a nap and then decided to rearrange the livingroom and get our Christmas decorations all set up!  I have to say, it looks mighty nice in here! Well, other than a whole section of lights burned out on our tree! Of course, I had to buy the tree with lights already on it, last year, and the replacement bulbs do not work!! Oh well, wouldn't be our tree if it wasn't atleast a little off. 

So, we've been busy busy busy with these nine puppies, and the other five dogs! Not to mention, school, work, Colton's school, wrestling... and so on!  Somedays I think we must be nuts!! But then again, I don't think I could ever have it any other way.
